  1. The 2022 leak

    A large cache of in-development footage leaked online. CyberLeek does not host or link to any leaked material — only reports on it.

  2. First trailer

    Rockstar released the debut GTA 6 trailer, confirming the Vice City / Leonida setting and dual protagonists Jason and Lucia.

  3. Second trailer

    Rockstar released the second trailer with an extended look at the world and characters.

  4. Release date confirmed

    Rockstar announced 19 November 2026 as the launch date for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, after the earlier 26 May 2026 target.

  5. Pre-orders open

    Pre-orders went live at $79.99 Standard / $99.99 Ultimate, with the Vintage Vice City Pack bonus.

  6. Trailer 3 dated

    Rockstar announced "An Extended Look" would premiere on Netflix on 27 August 2026 at 3:00 PM ET.

  7. Preload opens

    Pre-loading unlocks for pre-order holders one week before launch.

  8. Launch day

    Grand Theft Auto VI releases worldwide on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
