GTA 6 launches on PC the same day as consoles

Our assessment

Debunked as stated. Every official announcement lists PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. Rockstar has not announced a PC version at all, let alone a day-one one — and the studio has historically delayed PC ports of GTA titles by many months. A PC release is likely eventually; a same-day PC launch on 19 November 2026 contradicts the confirmed platform list. Rockstar has a console-first pattern: GTA 5 reached PC roughly 18 months after consoles, and Red Dead Redemption 2 followed a similar gap. A PC port is likely eventually, but a same-day launch contradicts the confirmed platform list. PC-only players are better served waiting for an official announcement than buying a console on the strength of a rumour, as we explain in the PC guide.
